One of the state’s legislators RaeAnn Kelsch, confesses that she owes thousands of dollars in back taxes. She is an acting chairwoman of the North Dakota House’s Educations Committee and has a $ 300,000 lien on account of unpaid taxes.
She takes the move by surprise and she is working to have some solution for the same. She further added that she recently found out the family didn’t file tax returns from 2004 through out 2009. Further, she says that her husband, Tom Kelsch, handled the overall family finances now he has undergone treatment for cancer and depression.
She said, last year they found out that there are property taxes that were not paid in full payment. She further said that the family resolved that issue and she was under the impression that the rest of their finances were taken care of.
RaeAnn Kelsch Says, “Tom could not bring himself to tell me the truth– I know, I should have been more aggressive in looking into the truth but I trusted my husband. Today, I know better and Tom and I are working through our marital problems and he continues to get treatment.”
She previously announced that she would run for re-election this year. She wouldn’t comment today on whether or not she still intends to run. As recently, she admitted that she owes thousands of dollars in back taxes which are very surprising for her too.
As she represents the state and she owes thousands in back taxes, it would be a difficult decision for her to run for re-elections which she announced previously after admitting that she owes the state money in the form of back taxes. She wouldn’t comment whether she still intends to run for re-election. Everyone is looking forward to hear comments from her regarding whether if she still intends to run or withdraws from it.

About the Event:
We as Americans directly contribute to the blood thats shed in Palestine. As the United States government funds the weapons which Israel uses in its attacks, it is our tax dollars which constitute these funds. Whats more, Israel is the largest recipient of foreign aid from the US, which promotes the building of further illegal settlements on Palestinian land. McKinney will discuss the little-known details of just how big a role America plays in bolstering the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
